This tabloid-style archive captures a chapter of "FEEL KIYOMIZUDERA," a project at Otowasan Kiyomizu-dera Temple that began in 2012.

The project follows a profound journey: ancient floorboards from the historic Main Hall stage, which had reached the end of their architectural duty during renovations, were reincarnated into a clavichord—a classical Western instrument—to offer a dedication performance for world peace. Across 16 pages, this volume records the scenes from musician Akira Uchida’s crafting process to the final performance. When fully opened, the centerfold reveals the intricate details of the clavichord in nearly life-sized photography.

To bring the voice of this instrument to life, the tabloid includes an exclusive digital audio code. The recording features "Silk Road," a piece performed with vocalist Miu Sakamoto during the dedication ceremony, alongside a newly composed original track. This volume invites the reader to experience a deep conscious connection—the beginning of a new "path of prayer."

内田輝（うちだあきら）

音楽大学卒業後、サックス奏者として活動。2008年、ピアノ調律を吉田哲氏に師事。音の研究と共に国内外のジャズピアニストの調律を担当。2015年、鍵盤楽器製作を安達正浩氏に師事。14世紀に考案されたクラヴィコード (鍵盤楽器) の製作を始める。
2021年、音羽山清水寺のプロジェクト「FEEL KIYOMIZUDERA」の一環で役目を終えた本堂舞台板からクラヴィコードを製作し奉納。本堂を舞台に奉納演奏を行う。自ら楽器を作り、音を調律し、音楽家であること、一連の循環を大事にして音を響かせたいと思っている。また、音のワークショップを全国で開催し、ピアノ調律師としてサポートを行う。
