Samue Shirts — A huko original collaboration with holk, a brand built on the concept of "clothing for those close to us." Based in the textile hub of Bishu, holk oversees every stage of production, from weaving to sewing, alongside master artisans.

Drawing inspiration from the Samue—the traditional work clothing worn by Zen Buddhist monks—these shirts explore a rational, non-restrictive construction. By incorporating formal shirt cuffs into the design, holk has transformed a garment with utilitarian roots into a sophisticated piece suitable for "going out."

Available in two colors, Black and Light Grey, this garment features an original poplin fabric with a unique, crisp texture. It is characterized by high colorfastness due to the yarn-dyed threads and a texture that improves with age. As a special huko original specification, the interior tags are unified in black.

Material: Yarn-dyed poplin
A proprietary fabric developed by holk. Using fine 100-count double-ply yarn, it features a crisp yet supple texture with a subtle sheen, offering an exceptionally lightweight feel.
Additionally, as it is non-mercerized, the natural texture of the cotton enhances with every wash.
